Seiko E-Ink watch

Seiko has always been on the list of the top ten well trusted brands of watches to offer high quality timepieces. They have been on the run since time immemorial yet they never fail to surprise their consumers with every unit unleashed. They, in fact, made a historical breakthrough back in 2005 when they introduced the first of its kind, the Electronic Ink Watch. And this year, they are set to make another record with this new generation of E-Ink watch.

Seiko E-Ink Watch retained the look of its original version provided with added features. Seiko shares that, the watch has figures, text and graphics displayed on the dial in a much smoother and vastly programmable way. This new Electrophoretic Display (EPD) watch has 80,000 pixels display in one of four grey scale shades. Images are displayed in 300 dpi (dots per inch) resolutions that are fantastically sharp and clear even in small size. The main attraction of this Seiko E-Ink Watch is its ability to display e-book files which is supported by an EPD driver for the maximum potential of E-Ink technology. Clearly, Seiko attempts to make a move of providing another alternatives for people to sustain their needs, hobby and the like.
