This is one of those timepieces that comes with very complicated functions with the looks of an attractive accessory. The La Clef du Temps Tourbillon Watch lets you control the pace of time using the crown located at 9 o’clock.
The face of the watch actually looks strange and a cacophony of abstract design but no matter how it looks, you will always be able to return to the standard time using that crown. This watch however comes at a price hefty enough for the ordinary mortal to afford, and that’s $410,000 as shown by the price it fetched at a recent auction.
The La Clef du Temps Tourbillon Watch is a limited edition watch with only 24 pieces. The watch is powered by a hand-winding mechanical movement with a Swiss level escapement and a vertical tourbillon. It boasts of two crowns, one for winding and another one for setting.
The faced is a little bit complicated but it has functions for hours, minutes and retrograding running seconds at 4 o’clock. There is also a special pace of time indicator at 4 o’clock. It has a power reserve of 80 hours and 47 jewels with 21,600 vph.
