At first glance this device looks like a jewelry fit for the wrist of a fine lady. The price of $57,100 is not even surprising considering that it dos look like a fine piece of jewelry.
But take a closer look and you will realize that the Audemars Piguet Danae Women’s Watch is more than what it purports to be. After all, it is a product of years of watch making experience shared between Jules Audemars and Edward-August Piguet who met when they were barely out of their teens.
The Audemars Piguet Danae Women’s Watch comes in an 18 Karat white gold caser measuring 30mm, and an engraved caseback. The plum dial is attractive enough, but add in some 104 diamonds for some hint of glamour.
With the plum moiré strap with the diamond-set 18 Karat gold pin buckle going with the Audemars Piguet Danae Women’s Watch, it becomes more of a jewelry and an accessory rather than a watch. The watch is powered by a Quartz movement and protected by a sapphire crystal.
